4 Corners of the World is a work in four parts. These parts are in public collections in Reykjavik, Awaji City, Devonport and Porto Alegre, four cities edged by water and thousands of kilometers apart. Each collection houses 1 corner and photographs of each of the other 3 corners. Maria Lucia Cattani wanted to encompass a large part of the planet in this work, which is only completed, however, in the imagination of the spectator of one part of the work and/or the reader of this publication.
